This blog will be an adventure for me. I have been an avid collector and listener of records for about a year now and have listened to some amazing albums. The idea for this blog is to collate my experiences with different pressings within my collection of records. Hopefully, I can comment on hardware in the future if, or when, I make any upgrades to my lineage.
When I review a record I will list the information about the record before the review in a format that will probably change, but will look similar to [Coheed & Cambria "In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3" 2008 180g Equal Vision]. Specifically when reviewing the record I will be looking at the packaging, whether it is well put together, the quality of the materials and shipping if ordered from a mail order service or website. I will also be looking at the quality of the pressing, whether there are any noticeable surface noises, either because of damage to my specific record or if it happened in shipping, if there is any sibilance issues and any other mastering information that I will be able to find.
